Concept

Starting Point

What could be more magical than seeing your child as the main hero in a book? Seeing two of them!

It’s nicer and better together. Because you can help each other. Because you can laugh together, and you can take care of each other. Because you can tell each other everything and trust each other.

From challenges to milestones, the first idea of having two personalized characters as heroes in one book seemed almost impossible from the start.

But we accepted the challenge a with clear mission in our minds: To celebrate the special bond that only siblings share, take them through their own world full of adventures, and create an unforgettable keepsake for their parents.

Where there is a will, there is a way. We cracked the codes and headed on a journey towards next level of book creation.

Sibling’s

Project Team

Only the best heroes can face a challenge like this. Here are the creators of our first book for two heroes.

Synopsis

A book about unconditional love and unyielding friendship between siblings through their parents’ eyes. Scenes taken from a day in the life of two siblings and their adventures: from baking cookies to beach trips, from brushing their teeth to bedtime, from treasure hunting to puddle jumping. This book embodies the playfulness of siblings but also their love and affection. Mom or dad’s voice as the narrator gives the book an emotional aspect that projects an intimate subtlety and gentle, but strong, guidance. The book screams pride, but also fun, joy, and laughter.

Two Times the Fun

Character Design

With this book, our heroes got a myriad of new looks to choose from. Adding more possibilities made the process of personalization even more fun and accurate. As always, we listened to our customers’ wishes, and our illustrators couldn’t wait to get started. We wanted little brothers and sisters to be able to truly recognize themselves in the book.

Look, it’s me! And look, it’s you, too!

Adding a storyteller

Stories for all!

There are two options for the book’s narrator – either mom or dad. This means each story needed to be thought through so it matched and corresponded to every possible siblings-and-narrator combination. Two sisters may climb trees differently than two boys. Or not. Moms raise children differently than dads. Or not. It took us months before we decided upon particular issues. But we got it all covered.

Who said moms are solely overprotective and strict? And fathers fun and easy going? Ours are a little bit of everything.

Putting it together

Cracking the code

Technology is a big part of our products. Especially for this book in particular. This book had so much novelty, both content and concept-wise, that our IT department worked extra-hard to apply all these changes to the code. Choosing a narrator was not just adding a button in a pre-made template. It was weeks of work and synchronizing between the team. But it was definitely worth it all. Making parents happy is one thing. But the kids – this is why we do what we do.

We’re proud, and we say it aloud!

When all the pieces came together, it might seem easy-peasy to a random observer, but to us, this was a gigantic accomplishment. We’re proud of reaching this milestone that made us believe that nothing is impossible.

Sibling’s

Gift Box

Of course we had to make a gift box that would accompany this product visually, conceptually, and stylistically. Everything was adapted to fit the product perfectly. Even the board game at the back needed a couple of months and several great minds to make it just right for two to play the game. So personalization doesn’t end with the hair style.

Only a well thought-out gift can surprise two children equally.

New Releases

Potential is Limitless!

After you take a look at the video with our amazing illustrator Gregor, you can also check out all the upgrades that were inspired by this book:

We already released a special edition with poems written by none other than Adam Wallace himself.  Soon after that we said to ourselves, “Hey, we’re having twins!” And now we’re adding a version that fits a big family with three kids.

We believe in this book’s future success and that it’ll fulfill its lofty potential, just like the children we’re making these books for.
